The Recommended Retail shown on a refurbished product is the Recommended Retail of the item when purchased in New condition. The reason for this is that the value of refurbished products is difficult to quantify, plus the items we sell are refurbished to the highest quality manufacturer standards.
If we have reordered stock that is sold out, there will be a button on that item's page on the website that says "Notify Me". By clicking on this and keying in your email address, our system will send you and automated email alert as soon as the stock comes in. This is an advance notification so you will have first option at purchasing that item before it sells out again.
By signing up for an email alert for a particular item, it enables us to monitor interest and demand for a particular product. So make sure you have signed up for it, so we know you are interested. As we are constantly pushing our suppliers to restock great sellers, we often receive it at very short notice. Therefore our Customer Service team is not able to advise when stock is coming in.

Every watch sold by GrownupGoods comes with a minimum 12 month warranty against manufacture defects which is provided either by the manufacturer or GrownupGoods. In many cases the warranty provided is greater than 12 months, please refer to each watches listing to see the warranty period.
The warranty on each watch covers manufacture defects only. It does not cover wear and tear, the battery or the strap.
GrownupGoods does however provide a warranty for the battery for 3 months from date of purchase. GrownupGoods also provides a warranty for the strap, only if there is a manufacture defect, which is evident immediately or within a few days or weeks of use.
There are several features that help make a watch water-resistant. The most important is the gaskets, or 0 rings-made of rubber, nylon or Teflon which form watertight seals at the joints where the crystal, case back and crown meet the watch case. If the watch is a chronograph, the chronograph pushers will also have gaskets.
In addition, water-resistant watchcases are lined with a sealant, applied in the form of a quick-hardening liquid, which helps keep water out.
Over time the gaskets can become contaminated or misshapen, cases become distorted or crystals loosen or break. Without specific preventative maintenance, over time the seals will weaken and the effectiveness of the water resistance will reduce.
Furthermore watches are NOT designed to be used around warm water or saunas. Warm water can cause the seals to expand and let water in. This can be seen by small precipitation on the watch glass. In most cases the precipitation will disappear and this most likely will not affect the watch functionality. If this does occur, to the extent permitted by law, it is not covered by warranty. If you are concerned about damage to the watch please take it to a watch repair to test/fix the seal. No warranty will cover watches that have been used in warm water or beyond their water resistance capabilities.

The depth specified on the watch dial represents the results of tests done in the laboratory, not in the ocean.
